Thanksgiving Dinner

I love food and during this upcoming holiday, I stuff myself more than the turkey. I am really excited for Thanksgiving this year more than any other year. Last Thanksgiving, I worked all day so I only got left overs. Which is not the same and doesn't taste as good, in my opinion.

Not only will I be attending this family feast, but my boyfriend, Tyler, will be accompanying me. I'm excited for this because I will actually have someone to talk to. Sure, talking to your family is fun for a few minutes but my grandparents, aunts, uncles and my cousins are no where around my age. They are either much older than me or much younger. Therefore, I normally just sit quietly during family get togethers and just text or play around on my iPhone. BUT luckily, Tyler will be joining me!

So I will have Tyler by my side and a big plate full of mashed potatoes, corn, turkey and rolls in front of me. I can already taste it.

Snowboarding

Snowboarding is such a thill. I have snowboarded a total of seven years. It is one of the greatest experiences I have ever had in my life.

Snowboarding over the years, I have met many friends and it is a lot more fun to board with more people. One run, about 12 of us linked arms and went down the run. It was fun but also pretty dangerous.

Snowboarding is all about pushing yourself, having fun and doing some stupid things that later you look back on and think, "I can't believe we did that."

The rush you get carving down the mountain makes you feel untouchable. The brisk wind on your face is one of the greatest numb feelings ever.

Snowboarding is one my most favorite things to do and I plan on moving out west after I graduate so I can snowboard all year round.

Puppies

I absolutely love puppies. I own a italian greyhound named Giro. He is a goofy pup and with his long legs which makes him dopy. My friends call him a giraffe because of the way he walks.

I torture myself often by going to the SPCA or the pet store to go look at puppies. I love them all and what to take them home.

Once I get my own place, I plan on owning a corgi puppy. I like them because they are small with little stumpy legs and they are fluffy.

I would enjoy a big dog as well, such as a german shepherd. But getting a big dog would have to wait until I get a bigger home.

I love puppies and at the moment corgis are my favorite.

Halloween

Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. As a child I would love to dress up and go door to door trick-or-treating. I would dress up as Scooby Doo, a witch, or a Disney princess. I would go with all my friends in their neighborhood because mine was full of older college kids and their families.

Once I grew too old for trick-or-treating, my friends and I would watch scary movies or Halloween specials on TV. It's a tradition in my family to watch "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" together. It's also tradition to go to a haunted house, like the Field of Screams, with my friends.

I love scary things but I'm still terrified by them. I like the rush of adrenaline you get from a good scare.

No matter how old I am, I will always enjoy the Halloween spirit.

Music

I love all types of music. I listen to just about all genres. Rap, country, alternative, musical, punk, oldies, dance, electronic, indie, pop, reggae, singer/songwriter and many others. My father exposed me to Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, and The Beatles when I was young. And as I grew up I started to expand my music taste.

One of my favorite bands is Mumford & Sons. Their new album was released last week and I already know most of the songs' lyrics.

I saw them live two years ago and it was the greatest live music performance I have ever seen and heard. It was at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland. My father and I had lawn seats. It poored, thundered, lightening, and hailed. But that storm didn't dampen our spirits. Everyone danced on the lawn in this storm and enjoyed one of the greatest bands. (In my opinion.)

I love them and I hope to see them again live soon.

Movies

I absolutely love watching movies. It's my favorite lazy day activity. Especially rainy or cold days, I curl up on the sofa and put in a movie. I also enjoy going to the theater, however I don't like when people talk while the movie is playing. I find it rude and annoying.

I watch all genres of movies. From horror and thrillers to musicals and children movies.

Some of my favorite movies include: Disney's Tangled, Sherlock Holmes, Taken, The Lion King, Disney's Robin Hood, Anchorman, Step Brothers, Taladega Knights, The Guardian and many more.

I enjoy children movies because I love how innocent they are and that they're just really cute. I will alway watch them because the remind me of easy times.

Delicious Foods

I absolutely love food. Only certain foods. I am sort of a picky eater. I do like eating at home, but love going out. Some may say I'm too lazy to prepare my own food.

Two of my "go-to" places are Panera and Chipotle.

I love Panera's broccoli cheddar soup. I always buy a bread bowl of that and get a strawberry smoothie. And for desert, I get a bear claw. I am always so full afterwards. I eat here once a week.

I am a total Chipotle fan! I've been going to Chipotle since I was very young. My parents would take me to the one in Hunt Valley until the got one in York. I get a steak burrito with white rice, mild salsa, cheese and lettuce. I eat here like two times a week.

If I had a lifetime pass to either place to get free food, I would eat there every day. However, I would become rather large...

Spending Time with Loved Ones

This holiday weekend I got the chance to go visit Tyler, my boyfriend whom is also one of my best friends, at Temple University. We have been friends since the middle of my sophomore year of high school and we have been a couple for a year and a half. It was kind of hard not being able to see him whenever I would like, however, we are strong enough to last through the distance.

Spending time with him is one of my favorite things is because we can be completely ourselves with one another.

We both are kind of goofy and we get along great. We have similar personalities and sense of humor. Also, since we have been friends for so long, his friends are some of my great friends.

I was so grateful to have been able to visit Tyler this past weekend. We hung out in his dorm. He walked me all over campus. He introduced me to some of his new friends. He also got a good boyfriend sticker for buying me a sweatshirt and t-shirt. Which is kind of a big deal considering I love sweatshirts.

Tyler is a great guy who has been there for me since I've known him and I love spending time with one of my favorite people in the world.

Autumn and Winter

Summer is finally starting to winding down. Don't get me wrong... I like summer, mostly just the first few weeks or so. I absolutely despise humidity and weather above 80 degrees. I believe that it is easier to become warm than to cool down.

The reason that the autumn and winter are my favorite seasons are that they are jeans and sweatshirt weather. I love my comfy jeans and I own about half a billion sweatshirts.

In the autumn, the leaves turn such radiant colors and fall from their tree tops. The crisp sound when you walk over them. When I was younger, I lived in a house surrounded by trees and during the autumn my father would rake up all the leave and my brother and I would play play and crunch in the leaves. I also love this cool weather because it's perfect for watching football games and sitting around bonfires.

In the winter, the beautiful, white powdery snow is perfect for my obsession. I am a snowboarder. Not a snow bunny. I actually enjoy the challenge of carving down the double black diamonds and board sliding across boxes and rails in the park. The lift rides with the greatest of friends make the whole day.

If I could have it my way, I would have my two favorite seasons be the only seasons of the year.
