The reason that the autumn and winter are my favorite seasons are that they are jeans and sweatshirt weather. I love my comfy jeans and I own about half a billion sweatshirts.
In the autumn, the leaves turn such radiant colors and fall from their tree tops. The crisp sound when you walk over them. When I was younger, I lived in a house surrounded by trees and during the autumn my father would rake up all the leave and my brother and I would play play and crunch in the leaves. I also love this cool weather because it's perfect for watching football games and sitting around bonfires.
In the winter, the beautiful, white powdery snow is perfect for my obsession. I am a snowboarder. Not a snow bunny. I actually enjoy the challenge of carving down the double black diamonds and board sliding across boxes and rails in the park. The lift rides with the greatest of friends make the whole day.
If I could have it my way, I would have my two favorite seasons be the only seasons of the year.

Oh, I definitely agree about clothes in the fall. I love being able to wear boots again. I've got to disagree with you on the winter thing though--I'd take 100 degree weather over a snowy day ANY DAY. I'm sure you'll hear me talk about that at some point this semester.
